PARKS
Farmington’s 15 parks offer opportunities for fishing, walking and hiking trails, nature sanctuary, community vegetable garden, playgrounds, ball and soccer fields, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, inline skating, BMX riding, inline skating, off leash dog park, wedding ceremony site, picnicking and beautiful open space.
RECREATION
Seventeen parks line the streets of the community offering sites for fishing, playgrounds, ball and soccer fields, tennis, volleyball, pickleball, and basketball courts, disc golf, skateboarding, inline skating, gardening, bird watching, and picnicking.
POOLS
Farmington Parks and Recreation operates two aquatic facilities. The Farmington Community Civic Center features a year-round indoor water park with six-lane pool, a leisure pool with vortex whirlpool, mini-slide, lazy river and one two story slide. Open between Memorial Day and Labor Day the Farmington Water Park is comprised of an interactive playground, a play area for children, The Rivers Edge Splash Pad, three giant slides, a Lazy River winding over 500 feet and 300 chaise lounge chairs for those who are looking for a little relaxation under the sun.
COMMUNITY CIVIC CENTER
Residents and guests of Farmington have access to The Farmington Community Civic Center, which house 3 multi-use courts equipped for basketball, volleyball and soccer, an 1/8 mile track, modern fitness facility group fitness classes and numerous programs and activities.
